These French hairpins are made of acetate, so they feel smooth in your hair. They slide into your hair really easy and actually stay put. Great for buns or twists without pulling too hard. They don’t bend or snap like some. The design looks kind of fancy but still simple. You get a few in the pack, so it feels like a better value. Super useful if you like a quick hair do.

I ordered these hairpins because I think they are a great alternative to claw clips - I like that they’re not as bulky as a clip and take up less space in a small handbag. I appreciate that this is a pack of 4 so I have extras to leave in my bags, but they do come individually wrapped if you wanted to give some away as gifts.These pins are a great size and shape. They are large enough to go through a bun (I have long, medium thick hair) but not so long that they poke me in the back of the neck. I have used these a few times so far, and the pin held my hair up securely for hours while working in the garden, making dinner, etc. until I took it out. I think the more elaborate shape makes it more secure in the hair than other pins with simple straight prongs, which I have used in the past.The colors I received are accurate to the listing photos, but in person, you can see that some colors look more translucent than others. They are nice neutral options that don’t stand out too much in my brown hair. The acetate material feels like nice quality - the pins are thick enough to feel sturdy and the edges are smooth. Overall, a good value and I would recommend purchasing.
